Privacy policy

Nothing leaves your phone.

TimeBorn is a counter. It needs one fact, when you were born, and it keeps that fact on your device. It does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no network connection of any kind.

What the app stores

Everything below is stored only on your device and never leaves it:

What the app does not do

Permissions

TimeBorn requests one permission:

Choosing a wallpaper image uses the Android system photo picker. The app receives only the single image you select; it has no broader access to your photo library. The live wallpaper is a standard Android wallpaper service, so Android's own "Set wallpaper" confirmation is the only step, and it needs no permission from you.

Backup

If you have Android backup enabled, your settings (birth date and style choices) may be included in your device's backup to your own Google account, under Google's terms. The cached wallpaper image is explicitly excluded from backup. TimeBorn itself neither operates nor can read that backup.

Children

TimeBorn contains no ads, no purchases, and no data collection, and is safe for all ages. It collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.

Deleting your data

Everything the app stores lives inside its private storage on your device. Uninstalling TimeBorn, or clearing its data from Android settings, removes all of it. There is no server copy, because there is no server.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever starts doing something this page does not describe, this page will change first, with a new date at the top.
